hey i need some sweeping exercises or lessons so i can put some sewwping in my solo's(i have made so,e fast metal solo's with tapping and stuff)
so yeh can u reply em in here

hi jonnyh ...

there are a couple of articles about sweeping by EricV ... i suggest you take a look at them, i found them VERY useful.

Also ... i suggest you take chords shapes (1,3,5 and 1,b3,5) and sweep through them.

Another tip would be to transcribe sweeps by the masters and play them slowly at the moment i'm thiinking of yngie, friedman/becker (I used some stuff out of cacophony way back this year) and now i'm trying some Children of Bodom stuff.

Francesco Fareri and Rusty Cooley are awesome but I imagine it could get discouragin to see someone sweeping at 300bpm...lol. There are tons of lessons and article floating around here with pertaining to help you with sweeping.
