Hey everyone, Does anyone know any good sites for free sheet music? I'm looking for begginner and maybe some more intermediate scores. Mainly I was looking for stuff in the key of C, G, D or F becuase they dont have too many flats or sharps. Oh, and I did find some sites, but they all required some type of file (.ptf or something) and I dont have a program to open those in. Thanks for all the help

It's probably "PDF" which is read by Adobe Acrobat. You can download Acrobat for free from www.adobe.com (http://www.adobe.com/).

Pretty much any site that has music notation will use PDF files because they work quite well for it. Occasionally you'll run into a site that uses picture files like GIF or JPEG, but those are often hard to read because of the file format.

A big reason for PDF's being so popular is because they can have multiple pages in one file, and also take us a lot less space than picture files.

Ooh okay, thanks. I didn't know you could get that for free, thanks a lot. Now I can start practising my reading skills :)
