Hi,
I've recently just bought an Ibenez CF7 chorus/flanger. I'm making it sound fine on my clean amp settings and it sounds really cool for "nothing else matters" by Metallica. But I'm trying to produce a sound similar to the distorted/flangy/chorusy sounds used in Randy Rhoads, Jack.E Lee and Zack Wylde's rhythm & lead playing and I just can't do it. I was wondering if anyone could give me some settings for my amp and my new chorus/flanger to help me sound similar and not crap like I do at the moment.:)
Thanks,
Simon.

In general time based effects (like flanging or chorusing) sound better after the preamp. If you have an effects loop try using it in there, or between your pre amp and poweramp.
