I just purchased an Alvarez RD20SC acoustic-electric off the internet, and when I started playing I realized that the 1st through 4th frets of the low e string buzz really bad. I was wondering if there is a way to make it not buzz such as getting the tuss rod adjusted. The other strings on the same frets do not buzz like the ones on the low e string.

That seems a bit odd. You should check so that the neck of your guitar isn't uneven which could be a manufacturing problem. Otherwise, I would recomend you to adjust the action of the bridge.

Buzzing on the first few frets usually indicates that the nut is too low. It's not so easy to adjust the nut unfortunately (You would have to mess around with shims). An incorrectly adjusted truss rod would probably not cause buzzing that low down and adjusting the bridge would probably result in an unnecessarily high action further up the fretboad.
But I should probably remind you...
