I'm interested in learning to fingerpick and also expanding my chord vocabulary(maybe even doing both at the same time, wowzers!). So I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of some nice songs to help me do this. And possibly an article dealing with proper fingerpicking technique.

We're expecting to receive a new article on fingerstyle solo playing "chord melodies" sometime in the next few weeks...

check out some of jimmy page's stuff. particularly bron-yr-aur and going to california. they might seem a little overwhelming at first but all figerpicking is a pattern. its all variations on a theme. repeat the pattern enuf times and thru muscle memory it will suddenly make sense
