Hi guys,
Jake E Lee's lead and rhythm guitar sound really cool! I've recently just bought an Ibenez CF7 chorus/flanger. I'm trying to produce a sound similar to the distorted/flangy/chorusy sounds used in Jake E. Lee, Randy Rhoads and Zack Wylde's rhythm & lead playing and I just can't do it. I was wondering if any of you could give me some settings for my amp and my new effects pedal to help me sound similar and not crap like I do at the moment. I know that all three use flange and chorus but I dont know when and to what extent. ( ie- whether they used flange in lead and chorus in rhythm or the other way round, etc.) If someone could help me I would really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Simon.

Hey there,

uhmmm... well, you posted that same thread three times. We deleted two of them and renamed this one... that way, itīs easier for people to figure out what the thread is about.

Please donīt post the same thread in several subforums. I know itīs a common thing on other boards, but letīs not do it here.
Thanks
Eric

Why don't you read the responses to these questions before you re-post them? And by the way NEVER re-post them. If you feel your topic is being ignored, reply to it trying to clarify it so someone can actually answer it , or to draw attention to it, instead of re-posting all over hell's half acre.
