An arpeggio question:

I have read the article about arpeggios on the front page, and have started practicing the exercises he gives, but something gets me. While I've followed the "Strickly" series closely without being able to record myself, I've noticed some people (mainly thinking of Los Boleros on his blues track) pick these arpeggios cleanly and fast. I've been working on it, and I don't understand how you can use a pick to do such a thing! It's easy fingerpicking, and I can grasp sweep picking, but sweep picking has to be at one speed and is less my style. Anyone got any tips?

I don't think that Los B is using an arp per say there. I would say he's doing good ole regular triplets. I'm sure he'll comment and tell you exactly what he does around the 0:50 mark. As far as picking, umm. Search option, articles, refer to those, and I'm sure others will have stuff to add. Maybe If you ask LB real nice he'll tell you exactly what he did... This is what I heard, I went thru it really quickly so I may be wrong.

Another question-- why does it not work when I try to open Powertab?
