Hi there.
I'm getting a Boss AC-2 to emulate a guitar with a piezobridge until I can afford an Ibanez RG2027VVX.
What I want to do is to have a mix unit that takes both magnetic and piezo sound and mix them, all midi-controlled. Like I stomp on one switch, just magnetics (but I'm able to fade in the piezo with a epxression pedal) and another where I only hear the piezo.
I've heard tips about Switchblade, but those units are kinda expensive and a little overkill for my setup. Might get one later if my rack expands alot. The other one is DMC's System Mix Plus.. It has two VCA's that can be controlled via midi to pan och change volume. Is it possible to make it crossfade 'tween two sound?
Any other ideas?
I've attached a sketch for the setup I'd like.
BTW. Does anyone know of a rack unit that has only delay and chorus? In my sketch I use my G-major for both piezo and magnetic.
Cheers!
