Neo Classical/ Harm Minor Riff Fingering

Ok i'v been starting in on alot of harmonic minor scales and licks and i had a question about one that i see very often but wonder how its soppose to be fingered. attached is an example i got from one of Eric V's articles. I was wondering which is the more proficient way to finger it. using only 3 fingers for the run and sliding up or down to the next note or using all 4 fingers and stretching it. I was just wondering which one would allow better speed.

Three fingers for each 4-note group; slide; wash, rinse, repeat. This isn't merely a convenience for speed; the slides help to further delineate the beats and phrasing. :)

Use 3 fingers on this one and sliding, just like RTB_Chris and Yngwie Malmsteen does ;) Haven't seen anyone using 4 on this.
