Ok i have been playing michael angelos speed kills infront of quite a few people i am not pefect at it but i would like to know how he does that rapid fire thing cause to me it looks speeded up i can't even move my arm that fast without trying it on the guitar. Can you guys help me cause that would be cool if i could learn that:cool:

Do you mean the part where he frets notes from above and below the fretboard, moving the hand really quickly around the neck ?
Well, first of all, you could check out his messageboard... I know he has one where he posts himself, so that would be a good way to ask him directly.
Also, this is more of a show-effect, which he used a lot throughout the years, so itīs no wonder he is so fast at it ( and itīs not sped up, I saw him do it in person )
And third of all, since itīs more of a show-effect, he is not actually fretting notes THAT accurately... just do a trem picking on, say, the G-string, and then move your hand around the neck like he does, fretting notes on that string while maintaining your trem picking.
Donīt make too much of a science out of it, itīs more of a show-effect

Sort of like playing scale runs with your hand on top of the fretboard... that used to be hot :D I learned that trick but I haven't practiced it in a while. It doesn't make much sense... It impresses people though :p
