I just bought John Mayer's live DVD. He's sort of a goober but he is a talented guitar player with neat ideas. It's only $15 at Best Buy.

For VHS, I have every Ozzy, Mr. Big, some Metallica, Van Halen, etc. They're all crappy and fuzzy now.

I have a few, all Awesome concerts

Tesla- Acoustic Jam
(Fun Concert, good interplay between band members)

Eric Johnson- Austin City Limits
(great guitar playing in numerous styles, "quite rare")

Van Halen- Right here, Right now
(Excellent concert footage, & great show)

Pink Floyd- Pulse
(This video is really well made especially for musicians as it frequently shows David Gilmore's guitar playing close up)

Eric Clapton- one car, one ride
(great phrasing & vibrato)

etc.

Just a Thought,

Would any of you consider combining our educational resources as I have a few GUITAR videos that are INSTRUCTIONAL & that I Paid for:

Eric Johnson,
Frank Gambale,
Tuck Andress,
Wolf Marshall- teaching Yngwie's style,
etc.

maybe we could somehow benefit that you can learn from mine & I can learn from any you have! :)

Not sure of the Logistics, but

This could be an additional advantage for everyone at this forum, as the knowledge we gain will contribute to this forum.

G-3 : Good concert, but not too overwhelmed
Satch Live in SF : WOW, one of the best recordings I have ever seen
DT Scenes From NY : Very good, but a little over-produced. Too many effects, gets distracting.

I should be getting the Andy Timmons DVD within the next month. That should be cool.
