Oriental sounding tune- Opinion?

I´ve been fooling around with my Guitar pro demo a bit today and here´s what i came up with. Nothing special at all really - the only thing i wanted to create was a tune consísting entirely of a scale I made up, which is:

1-b2-3-4-5-6-b7 (which could also be seen as a Dom7/b9/11/13-Arpeggio)

So I harmonised that scale (in C) and played a melody over it (the scale doesnt even move; its only the A-D-G-strings starting on the 3rd fret). So, no shredding or showing off, just a melody i like...

The beginning reminds me of a certain turkish melody, but the next part sounds almost pop-like in comparison, which is a nice change, and a nice melody, too... surprising, though =)

So I say keep working on it... might need to rent a Saz though =)
