Smile Getting started with music theory

    Hi,

I'm an independant editor from France and I develop educational software.
Among them a program to get started with music theory that is well appreciate by starters.

I hope that it will be a useful material in this forum.
    The available modules are

    - Listening (view and listen scrolling notes). More than 100 MIDI instruments handled !
    - Dictation (ear and recognize scrolling notes)
    - Recording (record notes (word or music)
    - "Speechtation" (view and tell (or play) scrolling notes)

This soft is (seems to be) bug free on Windows XP. Unfortunately one module, the recording one, is not working yet on Vista due to a regression. I am currently working on this issue.

    Here is the soft url
    Here is the user manual

And here is the whole site

All the ressources of my site are free of charge for schools.

    Go and try them!
Do not hesitate to promote them in schools.

    Regards

    Smile Interval and chords dictation

    Hello

I added interval and chords dictations to my music theory software.

I also added a mode in which the user has all the time he needs to find the right note, interval, chords.

Do not hesitate to read the user manual in english on www.dol88.com
This will help you to get the best from the soft and to discover all the possibilities.

    Regards

    Dol88
