Getting started with music theory

Hi,

I'm an independant editor from France and I develop educational software.
Among them a program to get started with music theory that is well appreciate by starters.



I hope that it will be a useful material in this forum.
The available modules are

- Listening (view and listen scrolling notes). More than 100 MIDI instruments handled !
- Dictation (ear and recognize scrolling notes)
- Recording (record notes (word or music)
- "Speechtation" (view and tell (or play) scrolling notes)

This soft is (seems to be) bug free on Windows XP. Unfortunately one module, the recording one, is not working yet on Vista due to a regression. I am currently working on this issue.

I added interval and chords dictations to my music theory software.

I also added a mode in which the user has all the time he needs to find the right note, interval, chords.
