Sweep picking fingering

Which fingers shud I use for an A minor sweep? Its a 2 octave one in the style of malmsteen and I can do the first part of it however the 2nd part my fingering just does not seem comfortable. If anyone could suggest anything better I would be very grateful.

Coming back down my fingers seems to get stuck at the 14th fret shud I be barring that bit or what finger as I have been using my pinky but it throws me.... Hope someone understands what im trying to say here. Its driving me mad

Looking at the way you have that written out, then yes you should be 'rolling' your 'P' to cover both notes.

Thats really helpful its been driving me mad cuz using ring and pinky just isnt happening at a decent tempo. Thanks, well back to practising haha.

I see this is a really old post so don`t know if this will help, but instead of using the 10th fret on the D string for the C note, I use 15th fret on the A string. This means you are rolling your 3rd finger for the two 14th fret notes which is generally a stronger finger to use.

Ahh yeah I see that is a much more easier fingering. Why didnt I use that in the first place haha. Thanks
