Need sight reading resource for Mick Goodrick's 'The Advancing Guitarist'

Need a good sight reading resource or two to help me get through Goodrick's book. I've got a couple of beginner method books from a couple decades ago that show where the notes are on the staff, but the notation in those books only covers simple songs within the first few frets and very few if any, complicated chords. I need something to help me determine where on the fretboard to play notated pitches, and what fingerings to use for chords. Thanks!

Buy the William Leavit guitar method book, or what ever its called. I cant find mine but his books are the best if you want a comprehensive approach to reading studies.
