    Upright (acoustic and electric) bass

Anyone has recommendations to help me learn the upright bass, being an electric bass (guitar) player already?

Any books, websites or plain tips would be good.

    Thanks.

There are a few electric bass players on this forum, but, I have not seen (heard) anyone talking about stand up bass.

I think you will have better luck with one of the following.

best thing you could do is find a good teacher who plays the upright bass. which in instrument like that, form is very very VERY important, and a skilled teacher will be able to instruct you very well. books and websites are alright, but they're not going to stop you if you're doing something wrong and correct you.
