Left hand callosities

Hello my friends
Finally I'm developing callosities in the tips of my left hand fingers...it's a sign that I'm trainning, at least, the minimum hours required.

I have a question...in my pinky, the callus is growing not exectly on the tip of the finger but on the side, i.e., on the outer side of the tip, near the nail.
Is it normal or it indicates an incerrect hand posture?

This is normal. I had that too, and I use a hand position where my knuckles are almost always parallel to the fretboard. As for "correct" had posture, unless you are doing something incredibly unorthodox, then you don't need to worry. Every guitarist has differences, compare Slash to Yngwie, or Michael Angelo to Kirk Hammett et al.

Another thing to remeber, is that if anything gives you horrible pain, stop doing it, if oyu continue you might hurt yourself and even permanently damage muscles.
