    Counterpoint rules

    Hello my friends

It's been difficult to understand what are the rules, in first species counterpoint, related with leaps and skips.
I've been searching in a lot of sites and they all seem to mention different rules (not only for leaps but in general).

Does anyone knows which are those rules?

    Thanks

Well, that didn't helped much, Malcolm.
I have searched that before. Thanks anyway.
