    For this chord progression sounds good but....

    Why does this example sound so good I mean the bass line and melody line is so smoothe and in order

    F maj7 x x F A C E to a G7sus4 G D F C D x to a A minor x A E A C x

    Bass line goes to F to G to A

    Melody line at the bottom of the chords go E to D to C

    Take a look at the C major scale and compare it to the bass line and melody line you will notice that it fits perfectly C D E F G A B and what could I play over it?
