    Best way to improvise?

Playing random notes on an instruments? I think this is at the core of a good improviser.

    Best way to improvise:
    1. You can take help of technology.
    2. Practice smarter, not necessarily longer.
    3. Challenge yourself — physically.

The best way to improve is to know what key your in and to use your ear to stay within the key. So knowing scales and what keys they work in and over what chords will help. Also playing wrong notes is wrong notes is not bad but is a guide on what not to play
