I'm looking to learn Jimi Henrix's acoustic version of angel and hear my train coming. Has anyone here learned to play either of these songs and a tab of them would be mightily helpful.

I used to make a bunch of lead sheets for Hendrix-tunes... you know, just the chords, and play my own acoustic version... did some little gigs with a singer back then.
Would a list of the chords in Angel be helpful ? Or does it have to be TAB ?
BTW, there´s a really nice acoustic cover version of "Angel" on Andy Timmons´ "And-Thology" Album

...I´d be interested, too...

OK, found one of those lead-sheets. Here´s what´s on it:
"Angel"
( BTW; I started the tune by playing the B-Ab-Db-D-Eb progression that appears at the end of the chorus )
Verse: F C6 / Gm7 / Bb Eb / F C Bb /
F C6 / Gm7 / Bb Eb / F Eb /
Pre-Chorus: Bb Db / F / Gm Am / Bb / Bb /
Chorus: Eb / Fm7 / B Ab Db D / Eb /
Eb / Fm7 / B Ab Db D / Eb
B Ab Db D Eb / Eb
Pretty stripped down version, but sounds nice on acoustic guitar...
Sing along, now !!!
Eric
Check this out, someone made a Powertab of an acoustic arrangement:
