    Recording Challenges.

The best way is prolly to record ur solo while u listen to the vamp through headphones then u mix them both. Now, which simple free soft could handle recording + mixing the two parts? and any tips on getting better results? ty.

I know one :Acid Music Xpress, its free, but im not familiar with it. Tell me what u think.

i don't know Acid music xpress, but,

Audacity is a free program, although i have not used it.
Here is the link if you want to try it :-

Not a free program, but free to try, is Goldwave. This is quite a good program if you only need to record one channel. Costs about $43 if you decide to buy :-

I'll record myself playing the F# Vamp posted in the Show and tell forum ("How would you......"). If enough people are interested, I'll try and record it tommorow and I'll post it when I have found some webspace.
