    Need some amp advice

    I just traded my friend my old Standard Strat for a Fender Princeton Chorus 65. I'm looking for a really nice sound, and was thinking of getting some type of digital modeler and running it through the effects loop so that I could use the Fender as just a power amp. Good idea? Please gimmie some advice. Thanks.

    That will work very nicely. Start searching musiciansfriend.com for pedals and listen to sound clips, then go check it out in a store.
