    Distortion Pedals etc.

Hey, I was just curious about what everyone's using for their distortion in recording or whatever. I use a ZOOM GFX-4 EFX Pedal, I'm pretty happy with the heavier metalish distortion, but I'm not satisfied with it's vintage compressors and distortions. What about you guys?

I recently just bought a PODxt Live and I also own a Boss MT-2. I basically just experimented for an hour with the two until I came up with a sound that I liked.

    Hey,

I have an Ibanez Smashbox and a Zoom Tri-Metal pedal. The 1st is good for Satch and Vai distortion, and the metal one I can't hook up to my practice amp because of the high output level. Sounds killer on a 60W+ amp. Very Metallica-ish.

I own one... hope there's nothin wrong with that? I know, it's not really that "hi tech" but man, my old folks hate it when I play music so I just buy that one on my own... you guys are soooo lucky...

I've got a Zoom GM-200 amp sim that I use for just about everything, and then a Zoom GFX-8 I use for some rhythm stuff.
