    right hand stretches?

    what are some things to warm up your right hand fingers for finger picking

    i just started fingerpicking about a week ago and after i play the intro of dus tin the wind, or even in the middle of it, my right wrist gets tight, isa that normal also?

    That one is good to warmup with. Play through the whole song and you will be really warmed up. Also, try Street Spirit by Radiohead.

    There's a couple songs I use to warm up for finger picking. I use:

    "Silent Lucidity" by Queensryche
    "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas
    "Mama, I'm coming home" Ozzy/Zakk Wylde
    and various classical licks and phrases. For example Pachebels "Canon in D" is pretty good for slow finger picking.

    There's another style of music that I recommend learning for the sheer knowledge of finger picking. Try some Flamenco stuff. Very hard finger picking in alot of that kind of stuff.
