Alternate picking while str. skipping
I just wanna ask how you would play a lick that consists of only one notes on non-adjacent strings always changing.
What I'm curious about is: which would you prefer to use, INSIDE PICKING, or OUTSIDE PICKING?
Just because if I change strings (now I'm talkin about adjacent strings) I prefer outside picking, cause I think it's more comfortable (I'm working on my inside picking technique presently). BUT. If it comes to string skipping... (and especially if I have to leap MORE than 1 string) it gets really hard to execute. Even outside pickin, however it suits me better. I am getting better and better using inside p. but only in case of adjacent strings. While skipping strings, I'm really, really lost using the inside technique. Hey, it's really hard (for me, of course).
