    Strictly Phantom

    Check this out Guys!!

    It's a one off, a special if you like in the series.

    Demonstrating how to combine a well known song of celebration, the rapping of early 80s artistes and Wham and the footballer John Barnes' horrific rapping for the England football team...

    On top of that we've layered in some funky bass and some gilmouresque type outro guitar chops.

    But really nothing can be learned from this at all except...well listen and keep your tongue firmly in your cheek!

    Thanks Guys, I'm usually loathe to do any kind of "vocals" but it's kind of impossible to say Happy Birthday without actually saying...well..Happy Birthday. Even if it is in some kind of jokey rap style

    Well Satch, it's just a minor take on happy birthday really.

    Just something I put together for fun for Phantom's Bday.

    That's my voice you're hearing there...LOL, apologies for the dulcet tone, it's the only way I can talk/sing as I have a raging cold at the mo'... on the other hand some would say that's how I sing/talk usually.

    Not my strong point singing...

    BTW. Happy Bday SatchMaster too!!!! I see it's yours today is it? Have a good one dude!

    This was strickly a one off so it's back to the usual strickly series soon.

    This is HEAVENLY MAGNIFICENT, Russ!!!

    heeeheeee, i know Sven will love this one FOR SURE!!! you know, he likes that kind of music...hip hop and stuff...the lyrics are really fun, and the solos are very tasty...i loved every second of it!!

    I just listened to it again, guess its mostly that bass line that I love, hehe, what a fun song. Maybe just the bassline and the interlude you play between verses... whatever you can put together in 5-10 min is cool. Thanks Russ.

    Hehh hehhhhhh! Thanks David! I think it'll make him chuckle!

    Mateo, here's the Bass riff: Once you open it in powertab you have to click on the bass cleff in the box with the light blue background on the tool bar to see the notation...I dunno why it doesnt open it straight away, still getting to grips with powertab.

    The guitar interlude is mainly the Am triad at the 12 fret adding in the G and F# on the 1st string.

    The solo stuff is mainly Am pent.
