Songs to demonstrate the Dorian mode

I didn't quite know where to post this, but I try here. I know quite a bit about the Dorian mode. I have experimented on my own and I have listened to most of the entries in the "Strickly Dorian" thread. Now, what I haven't done too much is listening to bands/artists who incorporate the Dorian mode. I know Santana likes it, but other than that; I don't quite know what to listen to. So, is there any particular artist I should listen to in order to hear how other people approach it? I'd like as many suggestions as possible.

Dorian tends to be used more than you realise in extending the blues/pentatonic lick library.

You hear it more than you realise.

Are you sure about that? It doesn't sound very dorian to my ears...

I'd check out "A Live One" by Phish...It's a double live CD and they absolutely exploit the dorian mode to death....in a good way!

I was surpised too when this was originally pointed out to me but I checked and it is. Move the notes into the third fret and it is more obvious.

Over either an ambiguous chord (root/5th) or a minor triad, I almost always go with dorian over natural minor (aeolian). Dorian just sounds, for lack of a better term, spookier to me. spookier=cooler!
