Hi Mikel,

Its a good Exercise.
But in this the whole five finger combination can be improved ?
Is there any specific finger rule that can be played for the C Major scale ?

Go to the first post that I posted. I think I did a pretty decent job of explaining everything.

You need to buy the Hanon book. They'll have it at any music store and it costs like $8.

There are a lot of hanon books out there. You might want to be more specific.

That pattern makes no sense. I think you may be mistaken with fingerings for the left hand. The fingers in the left and right hand are assigned the same numbers. (Pinky is 5. Thumb is 1)

Fingering for the left hand of the C scale is 5,4,3,2,1,3,2,1.

Go to any music store or ask any piano player and they'll know what Hanon is. You won't be handed the "Jazz Hanon" or "Blues Hanon" book you want "Hanon". For scales you want the Hanon book that's nothing but scales and exercises.

The funny thing being that most pianists don't like hanon because the exercises don't really span past the C scale. Additionally it gets repetative and boring.

Most pianist don't have it in them to practice for a good amount of time. Everyone and their dog plays piano; people who make music a career make practicing their job. It has every scale and it's fingering which is what this guy wanted and it's doesn't cost much of anything.
