Iron Maiden - Dance of Death

Hey guys,

I recently got the new Iron Maiden album (Dance of Death) and I just wanted to say that IMHO it is a great album.

If you are into maiden or metal in general check it out. The songs get better everytime you hear them.

What did you guys think?

PS. It was only released today so yeah its a brand new album.

I got it to.
It's a good album and what I expected from Maiden.
Maidens new album isn't their best but I didn't expect that either.
It's a good album with the usual Maiden type songs just like I want it to be.
I like the fact that they actually sound pretty much the same.
I would stop listening to Maiden if they tuned down their guitars and tried to copy more of the new metal bands.
Maiden is like having your favorite beer.
I know how it tastes and that is why I return to it

ok, even I will admit its funny. ITs funny for two reasons, one just because it is durrrr, and two because someone would take all that time to do all that.

LOL, all things end with metallica bashing

I have not heard the new album, but i'll sure check it out. Maiden is always fun. At least if Dickinson is in the band. Is he?
My favourite Maiden albums: Piece of Mind, followed by Power Slave.
I remember listening to Piece of Mind a whole summer while working in the fields at a local farm, trying to get money for my first guitar....ahh memories

BTW: Dances Of Death is an album by Mekong Delta, not one of their best... The Music of Eric Zann is their best.

Oh yeah you bet Bruce is on the album. That guy is one hell of a singer.

Adrian Smith is back as well. So Its the Same as the Brave New World Lineup....

Bruce Dickinson - Vocals
Adrian Smith, Dave Murray, Janick Gers - Guitars
Steve Harris - Bass
Nicko McBrain - Drums

I love all of Maiden's stuff, both new and old. People can argue about which is better and so on but it's really just a matter of opinion. I do rate Dance of Death high up there with albums like No Prayer, Number of the Beast and Brave new world though.

Personally I think Dance of Death shows that maiden still have it. Up the Irons!
