foot tapping

hi guys, my teacher has me tapping my foot instead of using a metronome.he says that tis is a better way to learn.what do you guys think?

Hi peter,

You should do both - Use the metronome and tap your foot in sync with the metronome. This will ensure you really get to feel the beats.
