Alternate Picking

Okay. I know that alternate picking is up-down picking, and that tremolo picking is alternate picking to it's fastest. And I pick (alternate) fast. What seperates fast Alternate picking from tremolo picking?

Ummm....The Strings.
Getting the pick to move across the strings smoothly can be done by picking every note or by hammering On and Pulling off notes . Either way your playing the notes .
Check out this Alternate picking exercise and tell me what you think .

Yes , young Shredder , these Exercises are Based on the Picking of Paul Gilbert . The Dime and Zakk Wylde are my Favorites , who do you choose to listen to, Citizen . These Emicons are not manly enough , i need a Viking , Emoticon.
